Vector Graphics -Also called "object-oriented" graphics, these programs store images using computer algorithms to define the shapes, lines, animation, and so forth. Vector graphics are growing in popularity because the images can be resized and scaled without distortion, and the file sizes are relatively small, for easy downloading on the Internet.
VBR (Variable Bit Rate) - A two-pass encoding process that analyzes and compresses movies to an optimal data rate; as opposed to a uniform data rate, VBR varies from second to second.
